General Enquiries

All general enquiries need to be sent by email to themic@themicmagazine.co.uk. Please note that we don't correspond via phone calls with general enquiries, so please email us.

Reviews and Interview Requests

We love being able to review and cover as many new releases and artists as possible and will endeavour to give everything we are sent a listen. However, there are times in which we are particularly busy and won't be able to reply immediately to requests so please bear with us and we will be in touch within 72 hours.

For PR companies, please send all requests by email to themic@themicmagazine.co.uk. If you want to send us music and/or information regarding releases, interviews and live shows, please contact themic@themicmagazine.co.uk.

Contributors

We are the University of Nottingham's Official Music Magazine and over the last twelve months have experienced a rapid influx of motivated and passionate student journalists. If you are studying at the university and would like to join The Mic, you can contact a member of the committee or contact us via one of our social media platforms (links below). Please note that if you would like to join The Mic as a contributor in any form, you will also need to purchase membership from the Student Union website. Unfortunately as we are a university publication, we aren't accepting journalists from outside of the university.

Photographers

Given the expansion that has happened with The Mic over the past twelve months, we are always looking for keen photographers based in and out of Nottingham to help showcase the dynamic music scene in which we find ourselves within at the moment. We currently have a growing photographer base to accompany our team of student journalists, so if you're looking for getting your pictures published by a growing publication, please email themic@themicmagazine.co.uk with the subject Photography. Please note that whilst our journalists have to be studying at the University of Nottingham, our photographers do not and so we welcome individuals with both a wide range of experience or no experience at all.
