They say that variety is the spice of life, and this year’s Bestival is set to be one of the spiciest festivals around. With 9 separate areas to choose from, there’s a hell of a lot more to Bestival than just incredible, world class music acts.
Tomorrows World is a thought provoking area, stirring your social, cultural, scientific and environmental curiosity. Featuring Besti-versity tent, a solar powered grandstand and Wight Astronomy area you know where to go if you just cannot wait until term starts to start swotting.
If you’re looking for the classic hippy festival feel, then the Ambient Forest is the place for you. But soulful, soothing grooves is not all this forest has to offer. Looking ahead, a personal highlight for us is the Amphitheatre which will feature comedy, short plays, mind-expanding talks and hotly tipped sketch shows. Definitley get yourself over here, the line up looks incredible.
The Festival is also littered, for want of a better word, with new and exciting Art. From Mazy’s Art Club giving you the opportunity to make giant origami elephants to the My Dog Sighs treasure hunt in the main temple island arena, there are tons of ways for you to get interactive with art when you’re in between stages. This festival celebrates creativity – you need to go and see these fantastic artists!
This is only a few highlights we’ve picked up, for full details on the hugely diverse and exciting range of spectacles at Bestivals 10th Birthday, click here to have a look at their website.
