Kerenza Hudson offers their thoughts on the independent metal festival, Bloodstock.
Bloodstock is the UK’s biggest independent metal festival and this year does not disappoint! With the three headliners announced - Killswitch Engage, Meshuggah and Megadeth - many heavy metal fans are pumped for the huge line-up. All the bands for the Ronnie James Dio stage and the Sophie Lancaster stage have been announced including a great mix of modern and classic metal, with Knocked Loose being a fan favourite this year. Headlining the Sophie Lancaster stage, we welcome Zeal & Ardor, Candlemass and Biohazard. With a great mix and showcase of all the different sub-genres of metal, the tickets for 2023 are selling out faster than ever with VIP and Campervan tickets sold out already. Bloodstock will definitely be shaking the grounds of Catton Park this year from the 10th-13th of August.
