Scuzzy garage punk comes to rough Trade on Wednesday, as Bloody Knees kicks off their fast-selling nationwide tour with a free gig.
A lot of words come to mind when you think of Bloody Knees: Brash, Loud, gut-punching- but most importantly fun.
The boys have been rubbing shoulders with bands such as Wolf Alice, The Magic Gang and Crows which has helped them build an intensely loyal set of fans. Combine this with the fact that they’ve just come back from a year off- the atmosphere of this gig is going to be overwhelmingly electric.
Their latest EP ‘Maybe It’s Easy” came out two weeks ago and I for one have been listening to it non-stop ever since. If you like pop-punk, mayhem, and nostalgia filled lyrics you’ll love these boys. In fact their overwhelming energy and passion for making noise makes them almost impossible to not love.
Keep an ear-out for biggest hits and absolute bangers: Stitches and Not Done.
If you’re looking for the best mosh pit in Nottingham and a chance to blow of some steam by going absolutely wild- then this is the gig for you. And for free no less!
Bloody Knees are at Upstairs at Rough Trade 7pm Wednesday 25th October for a live performance followed by signing.
