Preview: The Magic Gang

Up-and-coming Brighton-based indie band ‘The Magic Gang’ set out on tour over the coming weeks with Sundara Karma, serving as further evidence of the steps made by the band over the last year in particular. With headline shows all over the country and popular sets at Reading and Leeds this summer, they have certainly earned this sought-after support slot for one of the fastest growing bands on the circuit in Sundara Karma – preceding a set of shows in Europe supporting Wolf Alice.

With their own brand of soft indie-rock, the audience present at the Liverpool Guild of Students gig, or indeed any of the other venues on the tour, can expect to hear songs such as the smooth ‘Feeling Better Now’, the guitar-heavy ‘No Fun’ and the lyrically excellent ‘Jasmine’.

This is a group that definitely do things their own way – and it will certainly be well worth heading down early and catching their set – their festival sets and the following they have amassed on their own headline tours point to a band with a very bright future!
