Brighton’s four-piece The Magic Gang burst on to the indie pop scene back in 2015 with their debut single ‘No Fun’ and have gone from strength to strength ever since. After touring with the likes of Wolf Alice and Swim Deep they are now embarking on their own headline tour which includes a stop in our very own Rescue Rooms following the release of their latest EP, EP Three.
Their sound varies throughout each of their three released EP’s reflecting a strong potential for becoming a statement band on the scene. Their indie-pop songs echo aspects of their contemporaries, with Mac Demarco-esque guitar sounds and a feel good sound reminiscent of Circa Waves’s ‘T-Shirt Weather’.
So if you fancy a break from your diss, coursework or revision we highly recommend you get down to Rescue Rooms for a slice of summer in indie form.
