You are cordially invited to Bestival’s 10th birthday party (BYOB)

There might not be a better excuse to get down to the Isle Of White this summer than Rosie and Rob da Banks’ 10th year throwing one of the UK’s biggest festivals- unless you like a spot of beach fossil hunting.

The Bestival party started in 2004 as a tiny, awkward group sat in the front room playing charades. Thankfully though, by 2012, the word had got out and everyone else had finally arrived, frosty jacks in hand. So is 2013 the year that the beer bong comes out and the Mathletes lose their innocence? Looks like it.

In the next four weeks, we’re going to be previewing the acts and artists we’ve got our eye on, in a plea to get you off the sofa and crammed into your mate’s car with sleeping bags, beer and baby wipes.
