The deaths of Bowie, Prince, Ali, George Martin, George Michael, Victoria Wood, Alan Rickman and Terry Wogan left the globe in mourning.
For The Mic though, the year was characterised by The Mic Unplugged, The Courteeners, Blossoms, Bastille, You Me At Six and much more.
